Integrated technical facilities of a retirement home in Amposta, Tarragona

Imtech is executing the mechanical and electrical facilities of a new building which will house a new retirement home in the town of Amposta, Tarragona. The building is arranged on three floors – the basement, ground and first floors – and will be used as a day care centre for 50 people and as an assisted residence for 160 people. It has a gross floor area of 8,568 m2, 60 double rooms and 40 single rooms. The day care area is equipped with a number of corridors, living rooms and activity rooms.

The facilities to be executed include the low voltage installation, the generating set, the voice and data system, the PA system, the fire detection system, the building management system (BMS), the patient/nurse warning system, CCTV, climate control, ventilation, plumbing, the fire extinction system and the waste disposal system.
